    Got to lake about 6:45 got the poles out and at 6:57 landed my first fish about 1-3/4 lb. Fished till 3 p.m caught about 40 fish. The 10 larges fish weighed 16 lbs. twenty fish were keep. Tightlines jigs tip with minnows, water temp 57 water depth 5 to 15 foot. Santee was the lake, lots of stain water, Rooty Tooty Jig were used.

    Good catch Tommy. I think all our lakes are about to turn on. 57 is ideal temp, warmest I've heard so far.

    I hate I couldn't get out there with ya, but until all these house chores are caught up, my fishing will be limited. Congrats Bud, I'm sure you had a fine time catching some really nice fish.
