That's awesome. Any day with a 2lb average is a great day.

I read Handi's post down in the MS forum. This puts them in the money. Congratulations.

Thanks guys. We won 325, the best of the best fished this tourney and was proven that technique was key! Had a blast sharing it with dad and looking forward to hopefully winning one someday

Team meatgetter finshed in the 20s with 12.55 had five good fish had to add a couple pound and quarter fish and that really hurts on tournament day! !!! We had right at 16 lbs on friday, but that don't count on Saturday. !!!!! Congratulations to all the ar.teams!!!!

The tournament was a blast to fish. I do want to say that we used Meatgetter jigs on all our double rigs for this tournament. One of the major factors was color and we used the same color that we used in last years National Championship on Grenada. David and I refer to it as the "Nader Bug" because it worked so well on Grenada. Jerry may still be keeping it in his private stock but he will probably let some go if someone calls him. It remains one of our "go to" colors for serious fishing!

    Crappie Masters Results:

We ended up 52nd in our first pro event. Wow what a learning curve. We were on them on Friday and those fish had a different plan on Saturday. We all had a good time at camp enjoyed visiting with Greg, JW, Jason, Jim, Dustin, Dennis and others. We all were at the same camp except for Dennis. He was Mr Big at the host hotel (HA).

There were some major fisherman on that water. Never seen anything like it. We fished HARD for our 52nd place. Wish we could have done better. We learned a lot. Will be back next year and will be there (hopefully) for the national championship.
