    Default Darbonne 3-1-14

Since nobody else is gonna post (and I know there was more than me and Popsicle on darbonne today from this site) I guess I will. It started with us trying to get there early and at 6:05 am the parking lot at jakes was full and the line was out to the highway. We turned around and went to the peninsula ramp a cross the way. Caught 89 today and kept 68. Had some real thumpers in the bunch. Name: ImageUploadedByTapatalk1393729907.064029.jpg

I was there caught 26. I launched a five o clock and had to wait in line. I fished forks ferry back towards jakes.

Yep it was a little crowded to say the least! I've never fished around that many boats before. We ended up with 35 slabs & threw 20 or so back.

Ben, I met several Hamburg boys at the point today. Y'all must be bored with catching those Arkansan crappie I'm seeing more and more Arkansas decals in my neck of the woods.

Thats a nice haul BT! I was there, I started at Forks Ferry and was working my way towards Jakes to play bumper boats when my trolling motor quit. I am not a stump fisherman so I have to have the TM. Checked everything. Went back to my truck got the tool kit bypassed my breaker thinking that might be faulty, no go. Ended up coming home got my meter and all switches on the foot control seem fine, the motor is magnetized and no oil in the head. I am going to check the reostat today and if I cant figure anything out Ill take the motor in Monday morning. Gotta have it!
