For what those units cost they should come with your own private technican until they have all of the bugs removed from your unit.

Got a brand new unit today. Bought a new battery for just it yesterday. Worked in the yard. On the way to lake Washington. I'll let ya kno tomorrow what kind of mood I'm in.

Freebird......I am running a 898 and a 565 off of my cranking battery along with the live well pump....a air pump.....and a electric anchor. Battery is almost three years old and always cranks the motor....no problems at all. Think you just got a bad unit.....let us know how the new one goes.

I ran the unit ALL day. No problemo. I am relieved
