This tip will help a little bit. 1) hook your jig down by the reel if your pole has a place otherwise hook in lowest rod eye.
    2) run your hand up the line from your jig as far as you can reach 3) Pinch the line(that runs from rod tip to jig) and pull it away from the pole (line should form a "V").
    4) hold pinched line in one hand and twist the rod with the other hand.........when line is tight to pole, loop the pinched part that is between your fingers over a rod eye.

The line will wrap tight to the pole in between the rod eyes.
when ready to fish, pinch the wrapped line from rod eye and reverse process.

You can also break the rods down and put them in stick jackets.

Some of us tie on more than one Jig . A roll of good Electrical tape will secure loose Jigs and line. Never use cheap tape as the glue will sometimes come off -- Goo ... If tape is used make a tab folded on the stickey side to remove it easily

Welcome Nibblet, it's a good place to be. Why don't you start a thread and give us an introduction to yourself. We like to know the who, what, and where about our friends.
