I like your thinking Bruce. Even thou no sacs, it still was a nice day of fishing and catching.

You know....the way I figure it.....if I fish Henderson enough under every condition imaginable.....and pull every trick out of my bag(and I know a few), surely I will learn how to catch those elusive sacs on any given day (in Henderson)......that day was not today....but I refuse to give up....what a challenge those rascals can be.....
Anyway, the day was not a total loss....started in North Pelba with shiners.....found decent water and was in 4.5 fow fishing 3 ft deep when I got these two bass.....they went 2.7# and 2#......Didi already ate the small one.....threw back one 10" bass and lost the biggest bass of the day....never slowed him down.....
Then went to the west end of Henderson where I caught 2 shoepik.....big one went 7.51#......my size 12 shoe looks small next to him.....fun....fun....no sacs but they will come in time.....
wildlife and fisheries was checking folks bass as they left (doing a survey)....they said I had the big bass of the day.....

fun day Bruce...thanks for sharing with us.......
Nice catch Mr. Bruce. I hope these hard to come by Sacs don't play hard to get for too much longer, I am ready to get a few in the ice chest.

Fished 9-2 put one sac in boat, no other bites !! Fish finder was singing when I would get in 12fow or more nothing in the shallows!!!
Hadn't been able to make it out there lately, but I sure enjoy your posts Mr. Bruce! Henderson ought to be good with the bass in pre spawn feeding like crazy! Those sacaulait can be tough to keep track of!
Great pics
