Has there been any ice fishing going on at glen elder? Uncle has been open water fishing at pamona last few weekends up til last Sunday said it was locked up with ice... Wasn't safe enough to ice fish by far he said 1/2 inch to an inch at best... Highly unlikely would be safe even this weekend but I'm sure we will get another round of ice fishing with the cold temps coming... Also heard reports from Wilson that lake had opened up but 4-5 days ago started freezing over again... Don't know if I would trust that yet either... Didn't know if anyone had cruised over the kausway and took a gander or not... Hoping to go take a look this weekend and if I can get off work to do so I will give any updates I can... Appreciate any info !

Didn hear Pomona had opened up till the other day, unfortunately the ice reports are hard to come by, but understandablle since not all of us live near a reservoir to take a look see. Lake Shawnee is currently locked up, p lan to b on it as soon as I can float the tub on it!
Ponds are lighting up caught a bucket full not shown too
bombthreat, where are you fishing
ole big mouth fishes wtg
Just an old farm pond we and my dad basically took as our own was an abandoned trash hole we clean it stock it and take care of it
My Dad, who lives on the east side of Topeka, told me this morning that since Friday he has seen quite a few boats headed east. We are speculating there must be open, launch-able, navigable water at either Perry or Clinton.
I reckon we need to put an "aqua-alert"out if any fishing rigs are on the highways!
We have supervisors out and about between here and that city down river to the east (GO CATS!) every day, so I'll ask them to moisy by and file a report.
