Glade to hear the rivers falling. Very nice catch. Those jigs look great! Coming in from offshore this week, and hope to get in the Honey Island or around Lock-1 area next week!!

Isn't that satisfying, tying your own and then catching your supper. Besides the nice looking jigs I notice you have an antique trolling motor in picture #3 and a home tied anchor in pic #4. Nothing beats low tech fun. Thanks for the pictures and report.

Grey beard, if u come this way, yell.

I tie my jigs based off what works for me. Have many diff approaches for seasons. These are sparse.
If they don't work, I always have BGs as a backup.

    Mr M
Beeeen up for a while. Slowly dropping since yesterday. BUT got that spring rise coming Tuesdayish. It's rough.
We need some fish bowls like others.

Mr Gene, it's the only way I know.
Think I'd be H E double hockey sticks if I could get a rig set up.

Thx for all the looks and compliments.
At a good point in my life and fishing is just a bonus.

I'll have to yell at you one day, I used to live off Singltary Rd. once upon a time, and fished Lock One area a lot! Now I'm in Covington and work a lot more than I fish!
