    What butter ???? slab used Ice Cream or Frozen Yougart..... The second thing is that is a wide mouth jar the Jelly was in and the top on the table is a small mouth jar lid.. ___ Slab,,, Did you have to use a chainsaw on the Log of bread ????

    What do you mean empty jar??? My MIL, who is now deceased could have gotten at least one if not two more slices jellied with that jar. She would take one of those rubber spatulas and when she got through, the jar looked like it just came out of the dishwasher. One of our fine memories of the lady and the wife and I joke about it from time to time when the jelly runs low. She use to can jelly and kept us supplied in our early married years.

    I take it you liked the jelly Ed?! And no, it was not 100 years old, it was made the end of 2013. And it is NOT a wide mouth jar, I never did care to use those. I do agree my mom could have got a little more out of it too! Thanks for the picture, looks like it was very much enjoyed!
