Was browsing the isles in Wal-Mart when I rounded the corner and was confronted with the sign board that said all the lures were on sale for .75. Thought my glasses had gone bad on me. Since then, I have checked out 3 other Wal-Marts and they have 'em marked down but only by 1/3rd the price. Some of these lures were over
7.00 each. Yeah, I purchased as many as 5 of one color, but I had to pull the trigger on all of 'em. When I checked out at the sporting goods counter, the man told me
I should have been there yesterday........you'all have heard that one before. My wife told me to just clear off the rack and buy everything, but there was some things I
could not pull the trigger on. I do have some scruples left. Yeah, some of 'em will catch crappies too, and they will get the long line treatment. I just knew my luck would
hold for the big lottery drawing last night............not! Danny, I'm staying off the wagon for sure.

Glad I got plenty of hose. When you live in the country and have a hay field close to the house, you got to be prepared. Or, rather..........what was the question again?

That Rick Clunn cost's around $13, the xcaliber on the left of it cost $8, and the rattle trap 3rd from right, back row is $7.50 at Toledo Bend. The color is cherry bomb and it is a hot bait for Toledo Bend since last year. Yes, I have a couple and about 10 of the xcalibers. The rest in the picture cost $6 or $7 at Toledo bend, So you have at least $85 dollars worth and I think you paid right at $10 with tax.
If you bought 39 you saved at least $300. Great deal!!! I would have bought at least that many or more my self, probably all of them. Mae said good job.

You got a heck of a deal on those lures. I'd like to find that deal on those Rattletraps. I'd buy them all.

I came as close to feeling guilty as I ever have, but failed to feel guilty enough to stop putting 'em in the basket. I got all I wanted plus a couple more. LOL
I had to ask the salesperson a couple of times if what I was seeing was real. Probably never run across another deal like it again. Forgot to ask what the occasion
was, but figured they was just clearing some inventory for some new items. I have noticed the prices on some of the new lures are higher than usual.

You done good on this purchase. The salesperson I spoke with told me almost the same story about a person coming in and buying a rod for that price. You done good.

You noticed the higher prices, because they realized what they did and are trying to make up for it. Ha Ha on them. Don't feel guilty. You can't hurt walmart.
