    Nice catch. Gonna try to get out this week and see if I can catch a few muself. Sounds like the water is getting right. Thanks for sharing.

    I hear bayou black is a great place to fish!! Wish I knew my way around on that end!!

    Thanks fellas! I was gonna try again today, but that 20 mph wind made be hold off. Hoping the water still looks good by the weekend. Swampman, Bayou Black is a great place to fish. I feel blessed to live in this area. Hundreds of oilfield canals that can be accessed from the Intracoastal Waterway between Houma and Morgan City.

    Coon popper. Don't let the wind deter you. It may be bothersome. But the best days in our area are the windiest days like today when front coming in. I spent the day in wishing I was in it . One of my good friends had a great day today. When its windy once you fid them anchor out. During spawn where there s one there s usually many more

    Father in law has a camp about 1/4 mile from bayou black marina may have to drive down one weekend!!!

    Good point, and duly noted!..........I should have put forth the effort, knowing that front was on our doorstep. Next time will be "ANCHORS AWAY"........
