Size: 73.8 KBLately fishing reports didn't seem to be that good from Dardanelle, Beaver, or several other lakes. I thought we were going to have to drive to Conway again to catch a few. Yesterday morning the forecast looked pretty good and not a lot of wind. Went to Beaver and caught a good mess of fish( a few were in the 13-15 inch category). Caught most of them in 10-16 fow - tight lining jigs. The wind did shift and blew hard out of the east and the bite was off. Is it my imagination or do crappie just taste better out of 43 degree water?

I think they taste better out of cold water RL, but the effort to fish in cold water and weather might have something to do with it. Good post
