I know we have a lot of guys that have not been here for years so some here may have seen some of these before.
First here is what I call a wing jig. I did make better colors than this, but this one shows the wing a little better. I tied this Guinea feather on after cutting and then ran a little flex glue right next to and on top of the stem both on top and under. It did work!
A tiny jig for Blue Gill.
Simple Popeye Jig and yes this thing will catch crappie!
One using the Large Krystal Flash.
Playing with Powder Paint with the brush flick method for my first time back when.
Learning the Rope Dub method this was one of my fist and used it with this kind of straight flash material for the dubbed body.
Will add a few more.
Skip, as long as you are tying, I'll be buying! Showing these babies gets a man to drooling. Our ice is melting though, so hopefully in a week or so I'll b too busy to harass ya! ;-)
Most men spend their entire life fishing, without realizing its not the fish they are after!skiptomylu LIKED above post
skip you will always be number one is far as tying JIGS your work is always outstanding and it's nice to see good quality jigs I'm sure that you will be trying JIGS for many more years to come.
BOB.
Nice ties Skip. I really like the mayfly jig. What size is it and would you mind telling where you bought the tails? All that I can find is real small . I would like bigger ones to match the hexagenias that hatch on Ky lake.
thanks
