    Thumbs up Darbonne 2-18


    I made a last minute trip over to Darbonne Tuesday, when I say last minute that's what I really mean, I woke up at 0300 and said the heck with remodeling the bathrooms today "I'm going fishin"! Loaded up and was in the water at the Hwy 2 bridge at 0600. Fished around the Hwy 2 bridge for about 45 mins and landed 2 fish. Moved on towards Forks Ferry and picked up 19 there. Caught the rest out from Jakes. I caught almost all the fish on black/chartruse, I caught a few on black/pink, black/orange. Weird bite all day long, just when I would think I was on the Mother load they would stop, might go 30-45 mins without a bite then it was on again. All caught in the middle of the channel in 32-33 ft of water, I did'nt catch any along the timber line. Lots of small fish caught but I did manage some with some size to em.

    Good stuff.......Gotta stick with it...I like the FF area. I really like the "loop" or bend in the channel north of FF....Very nice catch, congrats....SLIP

    Good job Steve. I am going to try in next few days. I was supposed to report for Federal jury duty Monday but they called yesterday and told me I wasn't needed. Now for some fish.

    WTG Steve, wish I was fishing. My wife had surgery yesterday so it will be a few days before I am back on the water.

    Awesome job Steve! Glad you could get out instead of the remodeling thingy! If we don't take a break every now and then, we end up mounting the toilet into the LIVING ROOM floor!

    Great catch,hope they are still biting saturday.Gonna try fishing that same area,did pretty good there last weekend.Probably gonna be a few other boats there you think ? lol !!!
