I made me a base for my new fly vise since I work in a sheet metal shop I used some 3/4" 301 stainless steel and had a machinist put some holes and some set screws in the top and side so the only thing I want to do now is give it a paint job thinking about some black or white powder paint the base weighs a few pounds and it works out nicely also thinking about making a tungsten base in the future might be a tad over kill but it would definitely look cool
