The rabbit ears worked good watching the Winter Olympics, don't watch television much, but sure have enjoyed it. The figure skating is superb. The reason why I say this is because my daughter did this for several years. We traveled with her to several places out for state for competitions. I would watch her skate with tears rolling down her cheeks with a big smile while doing what she did because the concentration was so intense. I really appreciated it once I tried to ice skate myself - it's much harder than it looks, believe me. Thought I was going to seriously hurt myself. Just wanted to say this, thanks.

It is amazing how daughters and sons for that matter affect us during their events. The hardest thing for me is trying to cheer my daughter up after she has had a bad meet. I tell her it isn't how you start but how you finish that makes you who you are. I have also told her that I don't care if she comes in dead last (which she has a few times) as long as you FINISH THE RACE! She has always finished the races!

It really is Dwayne, thanks for posting. Even though it's been several years ago, I still remember. Here I am following college football and women's figure skating, what a combination huh? Oh well, I am what I am.
