    Newbie question, what does that information tell us about the spawn or what we should expect over the next month or so?

    That the water temps will have to rise very quickly in order for the spawn to be at the usual time. Better hope for a hot early spring.

    Great info! My first fishing day last year was March 12. That day the water temp at Hancock was 47.6. It's going to have to get pretty warm between now and then to get back to that point by 3/12 this year.
