    PS thanks for the good info and I hope old HACK is right because I know everybody has cabin fever. It may be difficult to find a spot that is not wrapped up with boats but the spawn could be fast and furious this year instead of drawn out over a longer period of time. GOOD FISHIN TO YA! ~~<*{{{{<<

    Planning to go Friday, hope the weather isn't too bad. The river is forecast to start falling Thursday into Friday, are the stars aligning?

    Yep. As jig rig said Most of our fish (terrebonne and surrounding area) spawn by full moon in February. Of course if moon is early feb not always the case. And of corse it's always knowing which canals are early spawning and which are late. But in general most people start fishing te spawn too late. They start earlier than most people think.
