The orange is duck flank feather that I peel off. Little different for the wool addiction!

Yep.....white with tap coating the top (green mica with a mix of clear coat). Do not like making a habit of tap coating but I get bored every once in a while!!! 3mm eyes are from Lifefly (ebay) in China. Great prices and good shipping.

Boarbuster....they are mallard flank feathers dyed. You can purchase at Barlows or other fly tying shops. Make good jigs for crappie and gills. Orrrr get you local duck hunters to start keeping the flank feathers!! From my friends this year, I have gallon ziplocks of gadwall, teal, mallard, woody, snow geese. The duck hunters generally will not understand why you need them until you swing back around with a grab bag for them!!!!! Then you will be getting tupperware containers full!!!!!
