I will say that airbrushing these small baits takes a good bit of time for me to do. You have to paint in stages letting the paint dry between each coat. I use spike its new water based paint that has no fumes which is great. Downside is it takes a little bit longer to dry but when painting several baits at once, the first one is usually dry by the time i finish the last one. After you get the paint job how you want it, you either have to spray a clear coat or dip in clear plastic. By the time you do all this i can do a BUNCH of 3 or even 4 color hand pours!
First off you need an airbrush. They range from el cheapos to expensive. I went with an iwatta eclipse and really like it. Id recommend a .35 tip and a dual action on whatever brush you choose.
Then you need a compressor of some sort. They make compressors for airbrushes but i just use the one in my shop. I put water/oil traps in my lines leading to the brush. 35 psi is a good avg pressure to use.
Fisher, an exacto knife and clear transparency film is what i use. You can buy stincels from alot of places too tho.
