    Sink them you will be glad you did in a couple months. Heck if that's the only thing you do that is illegal you're still a pretty good person ...lol.

    Gene, its called "being a legend in yur own time", I know that I'm " a legend in my own mind" just a little bit of difference!LMAO!! But,seriously. I"ve found that puttin brush in that has green leaves on it is a lot better than puttin it in now. When the leaves fall off, they make a mat around the brush that is used by minnows an aquatic bugs an that starts a food chain. I believe thats one of the reasons willow makes such a good brush pile, so many leaves. also droppin it as close to some type of drop off makes a big difference. and don't drop brush on a place where you are already catchin big crappie as this will change it into a small crappie hole, in my experience.

    Thanks doc,i will only drop brush on piles that have deteriated that were good,and as for leaves i agree and also while sap is up they sink better,hope to see you on water soon,good fishing
