Beautiful fish. Do you mind sharing how deep, water temp and if the lake was muddy or dingy?

The fish were in 18 to 20 feet suspended around brushpiles. The water temp was 34.5. Visibility was about a foot where we were catching fish.

A couple 14' Capps and Coleman rods to go with the pair I bought last year. Getting away from the 10 footers, will be 12 and 14' now.

The water spilling from KY Dam today was nasty. I don't care if you can track a coon in it, I'm going!

She looked pretty dirty Tim. Main lake is muddy too. She'll clear up as the Lake falls. With this ground thawing it's gonna be loose. I'm afraid every time we get a shower for the next month or so she's gonna get this way.

What kinda water temps you been get'n?

I'll tell ya what... We get some sun over the next few days and I betcha with this dirty water, you'll be able to catch some fish 5' deep by next weekend. Them Blacks'll move up for a little while.

Found 37.5 degree water today. The water was muddy everywhere today, even where it was still clean last weekend. There was ice for miles this morning, too. It's tough to fish when the water is hard.

We had one fish at 11:30, made a move towards calling it quits when all heck broke loose. We sifted through over 100 fish before we called it quits with 31 keepers.
