    Default Florida fishing trip


    Ok here's the deal we are coming to visit Mickey, Minnie, and Goofie for a week, the first week of April, my son and I want to get in one day of crappie fishing. What I need is good lake recommendation and a guide that won't take me to the bank.

    My son and his family are going to Disney the same week. By coincidence I will be at Okeechobee the same week staying in Clewiston at the Anglers Inn. That is (or was) Roland Martins business. If you google the Inn or marina and call I am sure they have guides there. No idea what they charge.
    This is my first trip to the "O" but the guys I am going with have been going for years and tell me the Bluegill and Oscar fishing is out of this world during April. Not sure about the crappie, but you could check with the guides.
    I plan to meet up with my son and his family about half way between the two one night for dinner. Not sure how far from Disney but think it is doable.
