Got late start yesterday due to minor problems with boat, didn't get rod in water
till 10am, pulled plug at around 1:30 pm wind had picked up to 12 - 14mph out of
North west, made spider riggin a little unstable in 12 -13' water.
Kept 12 - threw back 37 ...............Good time had by all, fished first time with
83 yr old gentlemen from Dowagiac, Mi. - Bill Koesis, who fishes almost weekly
in small boat.

"If you do not change direction, you may end up where you are heading."
Didn't have quite the luck but did manage a few. Most came in 12 fw close to the bottom. Some had eggs but didn't look ready yet. Water temps 62-64
You can't finish what you don't start
Years ago I remember my father in-law saying that the gators were bad at LT. Is that still the case?

Going to taron Monday 2-17 need to put some filets in freezer.
There are some 'gators in the lake. In fact the FWC removed a crocodile from the south end of the lake/outfall canal last summer. It had migrated up from southern Florida!
Even though the lake is in a largely urban area, it is in Florida and will have gators - especially as spring approaches and the males start roaming around looking for love in all the wrong places!
