Default I Have Had Enough (of this cold nasty weather)

This week I finally got enough of this cold nasty weather. So after church today I am going to pack my bag and head to Hosston. Since tomorrow is a school holiday I invited a friend to bring his three sons up so enjoy themselves too. Along with setting out some noodles for catfish, I hope to introduce the older boys to crappie fishing. Perhaps let them jig awhile. I hope everyone else gets to enjoy the nice weather in the next few days.

We had a great time. Put the boat in yesterday afternoon and rode around the lake to see what it looked like. MY fried had his three boys ranging in age from 4 to 12. We had 10 noodles that we baited with shrimp for catfish. The wind came up so we just fished in the cove where the camp is located. we also baited about half a dozen yo-yo s for the boys to see how they work. They fished until 10 last night and caught 8 catfish and 5 crappie. The guys got all excited when they saw a noodle bobbing up and down. I felt we had done good when this morning the little one told his dad he wanted to stay longer and he was not ready to go home. The biggest problem was all the salvinia drifting around. If it was not for that I felt we could have caught a lot more fish.
