I'm heading for Spring Training from IL via Biloxi and across I-10 headed for Jupiter. I'd love to crappie fish Talquin for a half day. Can anyone recommend a good guide?
Thanks for any help.

Be glad to fix you up if I'm at the lake when you want to go fishing.

Every day you do not fish will be one day less you have to fishquickhook LIKED above post
I been reading this forum for a long time. Ive read a lot of posts about this wonderful lake. Lord knows I love to fish it too. With that being said, if I had to choose a man or guide to fish with at Lake Talquin for half a day it would be no other than Mr. Curtis (Litewirehooker). I've never meet the man in person but have spoke to him several times on the telephone. One heck of a fine feller. Look at his post. Everyone he takes out has a smile on there face. Plus he knows the terrain as good as any. It would be a good investment and experience to sit in the back of that mans boat!! Again, this is just a regulars opinion.
The only "easy" day, was yesterday!
All info and replies are much appreciated. I hope time and the weather allows us to work in some time at Talquin on our trip. Thanks again to all.

I'd say the litewirehooker is your guy....that's if you want to catch fish on Talquin.
