Just another Saturday for me
It is fairly warm; no wind; no rain; no snow or ice; and, I am stuck here in my office waiting on a tug boat that is 2 hours late so far; with some barges that has cargo, that if I don't get unloaded today, someone's world will implode.
I sure will be glad when someday, the only problems I have to tend to are my own. Nimrod and CP will probably have all of the good holes fished out by then.

Yeah, I know how you feel. Sometimes (when it's warmer) I get all ready to go 'the next morning' only to realize it's Friday night......and I dang sure promised myself I'd not go on saturday again! I even got a website dedicated to it.www.weekdayfisherman.com That's me.
46 years, working at 2:00 a.m. on Sunday for 12 hours, after working a 60 hour week.....etc etc...sometimes having 5 part time jobs at a time.......I guess I just don't feel guilty about it at all!! Heck, I think I'm going Monday!!!
Seriously, I do pity guys that work and love to fish and hunt. I have forgotten what I did for a living.......but boy is it nice to sleep in, fish on Monday, and stay all deer season in deer camp! I'm sure the Good Lord won't give me but a few years of it, but I'm grateful for it.
Now......you boys keep on slaving so I can get my dadgum SS check, ok?
