A set of ice runners would not do any good. Maybe we need to invest in some dynamite!!

Thanks for the report. That sure tells me I'll be heading south to find some open water!

The Dynamite could do the trick!! I'm just hopeful that it will thaw out and maybe we can get on the water next week. This ICE sucks!!!

ARK they are calling for snow over this way in southern TN today. Not seen it yet but those 50's and 60's next week will feel like t-shirt weather for sure.

I just got home from over there drove from keystone to Kirby. Bo said they have been putting in at Champys so I drove to keystone to look and its pretty open up toward Champys but I don't know what the ramp looks like. I know you can't put in at keystone tho. But the water was open a ways out from the ramp and looked open from shore to shore up toward Champys. I brought my boat home and trying wappapello in the morning.

We hit 42 here today and had a lot of the snow and ice melt off. I'm only 10 miles from the lake so I am sure they got some melt today as well.
Really hoping to hit the water on Sunday and with the warming trend starting maybe it will open up. All I need is a clear ramp and a way to deep water

The warmer temps and southern winds may do the trick, suppose to hit the 60's early next week and forecast for rain friday and monday so i think that will help to thaw it out some. Trey Sunday looks pretty good with a light southern wind may have to come up after church and give it a whirl if a ramp is open. May ride up sat. with a bag of rock salt and help my fav. ramp thaw out a lil..lol..
