Thread: I got to thinking.

Aristotle said, "A whole is greater than the sum of it's parts". I don't agree because me the Whole, is not a great as the sum of my Parts, You. You guys and gals and others are what make me what and who I am. You are the greatest, even tho the "man of the Century" sounds great Danny, I'll pass as there are more deserving than I. So thank you for your comments and your friendships.

GREAT write up PawPawGene! I am some where in between where you are at now! lol I guess I still have some growing to do! Thanks for being a great role model! And I agree with Danny about you being Louisiana's man of the century!

Great post Gene. I can relate; I went for 12 years I didn't even own a boat and decided 12 years ago to slow down; I bought another boat. I used to equate quality with numbers; now I would rather enjoy the day; also I would rather have 15 quality fish than 50 dinks. I'm already looking forward to the next D'arbonne gathering; I've met some great people and learned a wealth of knowledge from CDC members. As I retire I'm looking forward to many more years of fellowship and fishing.

I can really relate. Some folks never figure it out. Congratulations on a good wife and a good life.

Yes that was truly a wonderful read and a great look at life.
