    Red face New Batch....Painted Cranks

As its cold, 14in of snow, broken ankle, and I just now getting over the flu....I know crappie 2014 so far( sorry for the bad pun ) .

Well I pulled out some of the bargain bin Cotton Cordell deep divers I get from Walmart for $1 each to repaint. Actually I really like these cranks as they have a hunter seeker type action with a med-course wiggle....no where near an old wiggle wart but they catch fish. So I always grab them when I see them no matter the awful clors they come in as I know I am going to repaint them and the price is right.

I have been trying to teach myself to airbrush.......steep learning curve for me. But its actually interesting to mess with....like I need anything more to distract me or get involved with but I just can not help it. Once I epoxy them I will put good red hooks on and if I loose them...oh well. I try to use colors I think work in my home lake.

Like I said early in the learning how to part and want to also keep it simple. So here are the latest batch

Good job on the cranks. Don't forget the pink, the closer to red the better.

The Cotton Cordell cranks actually troll very well and usually just need basic tuning.
