    Default Froze our KUTOOKUS off/2-6-14

Myself and CrappieGreg braved the low 20's and snow pelting our faces to catch 18. It was sooo cold i didnt think we would make it till dark. Greg forgot his gloves, and my toes were frost bitten, and actually quit hurting before we quit. It was the coldest sting of winter I have fished in in a long time. We looked at each other at times and laughed are we crazy or dedicated. LOL I wondered. But then we looked at CMJ and watched him pack it in. It was not long and we were right behind him. It was a cold slow bite but I was pretty proud to catch these 18. We fished from 1PM to just before dark. Water Temp was 35 degrees. BURRRRR both fish and fisherman had a frozen KutooKus today. But what a fun time when fishing buddys can look at each other and say BOY!!! I am Freezing to death and then just laugh about it. Its amazing how sub freezing weather can slow you down as I about had a kinipyon fit trying to re-thread my rod and retie another jig in that frozen Hadee's. LOL Man!!! that was fun OR WHAT? was'nt it Greg and CMJ? BAWAHAHAHAHA

Congats. Today was my off day but I wasn't tough enough to go.

Y'all are some brave men fighting that cold! Great catch!

I drove down to the water here and truck showed 18 degrees! Lake was on a slight rise and starting to look dingier. Then noticed it was starting to freeze over again amd wind was blowing snow. Made a wise decision to go back home unlike some folks. But looks like it paid off over there. Good catch ! Looking like ours may not be good Saturday with ice melting and creeks running muddy.
