Size: 67.3 KBFished turtle bayou area yesterday Fished bass a good while with limited success. Water pretty cold everywhere. Fog was brutal intracoastal could barely see. Finally went to one of my faithful canals with warmer water and caught 18 sacalait kept 11 plus 3 bass as that was enough to go with the 5 from day before. They want. To move up to start spawning. But our weather won't cooperate. Other than the rain tomorrow last good day for a while. Ill be somewhere. Not sure where yet

Impressive catch SS, it's good to hear positive reports like yours. I'm under the weather right now and it doesn't look like the weather will get much better this week. So I guess I'll just have to sit home and read reports like yours and PrefersShiners. Congrats to both of y'all.

Hope you feel better and can get out soon . My sinuses get bad everytie I go right now .also I edited to add picture. Not sure wat went wrong but oh we'll. I should have went last Monday but didn't go. Friend of mine did great where we had even fishing behind lake bouef that day. But the crowds are too much. There was 10 boats at most launch at bayou blackyesterday Never saw anyone all day which doesn't happen often. Of course Super Bowl Sunday is always great day to fish folks stay home

Those are the type of days I like to fish. Mardi Gras is another one. While the drunks are staggering in the street I'll be fishing if I'm well.

Congratulations on a good catch. They should stink up the oil a little and taste even better.
