Can anyone tell me where to get the blade holder. It's a rubber type of mat that holds blades and hooks in place when soldiering

Good idea Bob
Seems to me the heat used when soldering will melt the rubber. Also indroducing another metal, like the forceps Bob shows, to hold the tin shell and hook takes away some of the necessary heat for soldering and makes the process longer. I use a wooden block as a base, flux the tin real well. make sure the soldering iron is very hot and tinned. Soldering should take less than 5 seconds. Have the hook set in place in the tin shell. Place the tip of the soldering iron so that it pins the hook and the shell. Touch the very fine solder wire to the shell and it melts instantly soldering the hook and the shell.
Clean the flux. Paint with acryllic paint or heat the lure in a toaster oven and then sprinkle with powder paint.

It's a silicon type of rubber that is heat resistant I had a website I believe from ohio that carried them and I must have deleted it. This is a way to make 10 or so at a time. Thanks for the help
