    Default Breaking ice today

I went out at 1 pm today hoping ice would be thin. Got lucky as a commerical fisherman had busted a trail. Still was lots of ice and cold on the water. First hour I never got bit! Then about 2 PM ,I caught my first one. I used Spanky on one pole and a Rooster made by Bob's Jigs on the other. Them Ozarks got a nice little work out. Well by 430 pm I left them biting. Best count I caught 67 Crappie and a White Bass. Kept 20 out of the 30 keepers I caught .

N....ice. It makes a fellow feel good to figure out the pattern without getting bit for awhile. Good fish.

Reckon you got any colder than I did ? Hollar if you want to fish sometime. That ice seperated the fishermen from the boys today!
