    Carl said entire lake was ice about an 1/8 inch thick.

    Dang--wouldn't have expected that much--but guess it makes sense. For the first time in 11 year both the upper and lower lake at my house were both covered in ice-no open water.

    Yep... whole lake iced over. I tried to bust ice thinking the main lake would be open. It's not!

    Now that's wanting to fish bad. Now I know I'm not alone. Never would have thought the lake would freeze though. That would have been some nice pictures to have.
