Henderson Afternoon Drop In_1/26/14
Left church this morning and the in-laws took our two boys with them, so me and my wife headed for a short fishin trip, lots of boats out and the weather was great! She loves to fish, and is due for boy #3 on Friday, so we took some time we had to make the most of it. She is definitely a trooper!
Fished from 12:30 to 4:00, right about when we were needing to leave, caught 4 sacs, dropped 3, and missed a few too. The others next to us were starting to catch good too. Fished with shiners and pearl Bobby Garland swimmers....also saw some one spider rigging, which was a first for me. Pictures say it all as to where we were! Couldn't find any 1/8 oz. jig heads so I made my own...haha, or tried to.

These were just the standard lead head jigs, and I painted them. You can get them at Walmart for really cheap already painted. Haven't tied any jigs yet, but soon want to take it up as a hobby.

Driving back after the fishing trip she mentioned if I wanted to take my oldest (4 yrs old) fishing after the baby during my time off I could. She is definately a keeper! Now I just need to figure out how to fit 3 boys and my wife in my 15' alweld! Sounds like an upgrade waiting to happen...Yep only problem is she is a bad scheduler as Friday is supposed to be the best fishing weather this week.
