A Kentucky style rig with a bottom dropper "weight" or a capps and colemen style rig for trolling / spider rigging

We Fish with everything we got!!! It might be with a weight 12 inches above a hook for a shiner to free swim and a couple of hooks above the weight for extra shiners. Could use the Drop shot with 4 jugs above. Y swivels with short drops. Streight jigs, with or without split shot... Much of it depends on how deep or how thick the cover is the Crappie is holding. The multi jigs help to cover as much of the suspected depth, In open water for suspended fish.... I Ain't much Help Right?![]()
I use bottom dropper. I have used both and it is easier to tie with less tangles. I have a youtube video showing how to tie it. The title of the video is deep trimmed.

Drjayhow - Nice video, I will have to give it a shot. That is if we ever get any soft water. We are frozen solid here in the Finger Lakes Region of New York.
