I have fished it quite a bit over the last few years. We mostly cast jigs for white bass and crappie. It can be very frustrating to fish. Sometimes you can do so well you think it is the answer to your best go to spot. Then you can go back and just find nothing. Not very many people fish it and most are after catfish or are trolling for whites. If you are fishing jigs take a lot of baits because you will find a lot of wood. Don't be afraid to back off of the bank and work the channel just off the edge of the timber. Be careful running even the middle of the channel as there are several logs well off of the bank both down stream around the first bend as well as upstream especially above the island about 1-2 miles up from the bridge. It is also hard to check up on in advance because there are no local bait shops to call and very few post to follow up on. Feel free to PM me and we can link up via phone. I will be glad to go into more detail there or even hook up and go together to save on gas for a run.
God bless Charlie Brewer and Bobby Garland.

Well now you can't beat that with a stick. Good info with an invite to boot.

Has anyone looked at the ramp lately. Just wondering if Stockton has let any water out to move the ice out.

I haven't seen any scheduled releases for stockton in a long time.
Think they were trying to replace a generator.
