A friend was catching fish before the deep freeze in an Oxbo lake off a main river here in north east Ga. I made my version of his hand tied marabou...I just used hackle and colors very similar ! They had two limits in a half day! I never would have used these dark colors...still learning...the fish sure liked them? Most fish were a pound and a half.

Yep, many times I use black maribou and blue or black painted lead and catch a mess of fish.
Nice looking jig, I might have to try my luck at that one.
Nice
Nice tie medefeco1
Nice tie! Tied some for one of my buddies the other day to send home for his son. They were black/red combos, said those dark colors always worked great for him in the spring. Gonna give them a try myself next spring!
Very nice tie.

Nice colors and nice jig. Put a black head on that jig and you will have another keeper jig.
