    Default Painting Cranks

Obviously I am very early into the the self teaching process of learning to do this. I am trying to not get fancy but doing colors and such that I think will catch crappie. I look for old beat up cranks to redo. Not many pull cranks here in kansas but it has been productive for me in the summers.

I am using basic equipment until I get better....be a while....then want to up grade. But I want to keep it basic. So I did a dozen or so and to a pic of a few over the last couple of days playing around. Of course when a sale comes up like the one Overstockbaits had I load up.

Would love to find some Generic old Wiggle Warts blanks but nothing so far I have found comes close that trolls well. These are old bandits and cotton cordells

Wish we had a Crankbait sub-section

I like the work, very nice. I have seen some nice patterns come out of lace, a sort of scale effect. Might be worth a try. A deep hot pink Bandit, with a bit more red in it than the others offer works well for me. Have fun....Skeet.

I have some micro netting for scales, never used it but something to try. I found some pink colors, should be easy to match

I like the two on the right. Nice work.
    GO BIG ORANGE !

I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.

you are doing a fantastic job on airbrushing and I'm sure that more practice that you get the better your crank baits will come out glad to see that you are enjoying a beautiful hobby like that now if I can get into airbrushing jig heads that would be interesting.
