I don't know where you are getting your weather report at but you better dress warmly and bring your rain gear

You might want to post a little more info. There are several State Parks in Ky. Also, what tournament are you talking about?

They are talking about Barren's state park, and Blinkys is the owners of a local bait and tackle shop here around Barren. They are hosting an open tournament just to try spark some interest.

Sorry, yes to clarify it is out of Barren River, State Park.
The weather forecast isn't great but much better then any of the other dates we've tried to have this. Right now, weather channel is saying in the 40's with 0% chance of rain. It may change but we're hoping it'll hold off for us.
We would love to have as many as you can join us, it's just a open tournament we are putting on because no one really does anything for the crappie guys around here.

I'm not going to be able to make it but I'm glad you are having these tournaments. I can't wait to fish some of them. I did hear that a lot of main lake is froze. Be careful

I believe they decided to cancel the tournament due to all the ice on the lake. You might want to call and make sure before you head out there.

Yes, we don't want to but are gonna have to cancel. I think fishing will end up being pretty good tomorrow afternoon and Sunday. The ramps are frozen and won't be thawed in the morning with the extra snow chances moving in tonight. We will once again try to have another. We hate this sooo bad. On the other hand we don't anyone or anything tore up from the ice.
