As for ramps, to fish the North end GA side is Florence State Park or AL side is Lakepoint State Park. Mid lake and South there are several on both sides just depends on wind and where you want to fish. It is a huge lake, but some great fishing.

That was my first time using it and I can't say that I was amazed but it worked well enough. It has been a long time since I filleted fish without a powered knife, so part of it was me I'm sure. Also, the fish were about frozen solid.( hard to tell frozen meat from bone)

nice mess of fish!! were you longline trolling or pushing? i have been wanting to get out of the house and go fishing but didnt know how bad stained the lake was. Also was you fishing the north end of the lake? i always put in at rood or hatchechubee on the AL side.
