I see that you're wanting a pretty fancy plate plan was the only one that has them all painted up Purdy with the top fan and blower fan I don't think that has a big bearing on the action it's all in the tale well anyway good luck.

Well I've found 3 different companys that sells the same heads NorthLand,Getzit, and BassPro. With 3 companies selling the same heads which would have the patent on them if any? Or does one company buy from the other? If there is not a patent to one company should'nt the molds be available to the public?

maybe the molds might be available to the public it depends on the company one company can make all the jig heads and sell them to individual companies and of course these may be important when company is important and like from China or some other country I would deftly contact Northland or by some other heads maybe could do it online and look under card that they put that jig head on to see if there is a patent pending if there are no patents it is free to go you can get one and copy it but make absolutely sure that there are no patents on it Frenchman's on another company with a patent at our deadly a lot of companies now are copying plastic baits they change them 10% and get by with it long story short all the companies up to a copy one another one way or other they definitely take a lot of our ideals offer here and use them you might be surprised at how many different hand-tied jigs have been copied and of course the plastic baits are a big seller in they definitely will copy. just my two cents worth a while back I posted a jig that was similar to somebody else's he did not have any patented pending on them but I deftly got chewed out about for making something similar I changed it over 20% and are still nothing that he can do about it just to give you a example of what happens on here on jig tying form most guys copy one another because the information that we are giving is to help one another not to infringe on anyone that is selling we know perfectly well that most of the jigs that we are tying now days are similar to one another one way or the other and I know perfectly well that a lot of my patterns that I've posted will be copied more power to the guys I want them to I hear on this website to help the other guys and I will give this much information as I can to anyone that asked.
