    Default Hi-Tek holders

ordered a Elite 4 rod Hi Tek holder with an 18 inch riser and was showing a picture of it to a co-worker who fishes for catfish. he really liked the looks of it but is concerned a big catfish might break the holder. any thoughts on how big of a fish it would take to break it? not the part the reel handle goes in but the bar and or the riser. thanks JB

They hold as good as another rod holder out there. I have hook some good stumps and have not move them
All men are created equal, some work harder in the preseason.

I bet if it breaks he will replace it. Never heard of one breaking. Like Gindog I have tied up some pretty tough stuff and not broke anything yet.
