    Default Henderson 1-12-14--slow day fishing

Well took my choice of places to fish today and went to Henderson today despite past few days posts of rising and muddy water. Was a toss up of Henderson /Lake Martin /or Mermentau River.Ended up in Henderson and as the past few days posts stated, was a slow day of fishing.Ended up with 1 nice sacalait and a nice keeper bass.Have no regrets though, cause the day could have not been any better due to the fact that I met and talked with Mr.Bruce (aka--prefers shiners) after he noticed my boat (pic on forum) and stopped to introduce himself and chat a bit.He was also having a slow day and like myself had 1 good sac on board. After loading up boat at landing again talked to Mr.Bruce and he gave me a couple of my first Crappie.com decals to put on my boat and truck. For that I thank you prefers and was a pleasure meeting a fine person and fellow crappie.com friend as yourself.Hope to see you and others soon back on the water soon.GOD BLESS and Peace to all.

Time to change tactics, they're heading for the spawning grounds.

I'm going to look for some males this week probably. Just to see.
