This is the Bucksaw report from Jan 6
"Conditions at the lake are rough. With the cold and snowy weather the lake is iced over and ramps are inaccessible. There is little open water near the Dam. We hope to have a good report after the thaw."
I was wanting to get out this weekend but it don't sound good.

Stockton Lake ramps, CC ice, but thinning
state park, little ice, some out in the middle,
happy O's, thin ice, open at the mouth of the cove
main lake open.
mutton creek open, both sides, ice in back of cove
twin bridges some ice, looks like it is thinning, H highway bridge some ice Y highway bridge open, some ice up stream towards chicken rock.
most looked like it would be open,

that is all I got, report was at noon till one oclock. good fishn y'all
I hear there is a lot of open water below Truman dam, buddy of mine ran downriver 4 miles and open water everywhere. 'bout time!
May have to give it a try tomorrow down below.
Just read the bucksaw report and they say as of 18 january theres lots of open water

Well looks like Cooper creek, Deepwater arm and Sparrowfoot are froze up!!!
Drake harbor and Bledsoe are still iced up with thicker ice. Some thin
ice formed last night in the channel. Old city ramp looked useable.
Dead shad all over Truman. Even the buzzards are on the ice.
