    Default Lake Martin 1/9/2014

Waited until the duck hunters left. Then i went to the middle of the lake and started bouncing my 1/4 oz silver & yellow jig off the bottom.Picked up some 15 nice fish. The males are starting to change color, look out spawn.Name: 1000000668.jpg

Wow! I have high admiration for anyone who can catch at Lake Martin. I wrote that place off cause it whipped me so many times. Now it moves from "wrote off" to "nearly wrote off" for me.

The water is low so the fish don't have many deep holes to hide. So i started at a duck blind and then bounced my jig along the bottom to the next blind. The fish weren't stacked up. There is some old duck blind structure down there, you just have to look for it with a jig.
