Default Ice still on the water.

Checked and ice still on the water here. Really wanted to wet a hook today. Instead went out to the shop and checked my outboard motor prop, just like I thought '' fishing line wrapped behind it''. Good time to check out your equipment.

Good call especially if you have a heated shop to work in.

I'm getting old fast. This needs to hurry up and go away. I didn't choose to live in Michigan, for goodness sakes.

While you are checking, go ahead and jack up the tires and get line out of inside grease seal, and trolling motor too.

I sure have the itch to wet a hook. Weatherman says better weather is on the way. Guess we will have to see because I sure don't trust them. If I only knew in school of a job you are never wrong or incorrect I would have pursued meteorology school.

I went and broke the 1 1/4" ice out of our bar pit on Wednesday morning so I could duck hunt. It has not froze back. Get out there and stir you a hole open. You will have it to yourself for a while.

I guess the ice will keep you in one place in the 25 mph wind
