Fin & Feather must be one of the most used names for fishing type places, like the one you mentioned and we hat one just down the Road about 5 miles is Fin & Feather Resort and Marina. Then I lived near Corpus Christi for 11 years and there was a small Marina type place that had a great launch for the area I fished and it's name was Fin & Feather, LOL!

Skip there was a great Midwest outdoor magazine with that name also. Jackie does a nice job on those cranks. I never use them for I would lose to many in this shallow old lake here. Looks like he has the total package by the pictures.

Jackie try to do a tutorial on how to just carve one that would be great. If my jigs were any bigger I would put a picture of a Indian Chief on each one. That way every one would know that the Redman did them.

Jackie53 .... "spam" is like junk mail. It's the sending out (or posting) of advertisements for a product, to every Tom, Dick, & Harry in the hopes of selling something to a percentage of the folks that see the ad.

You've already told us that these baits are not for sale, so we're cool with that. And since you're attempting to "teach" those interested in making these baits, how you do it, with what you use, and where you get the components ... it's obvious you're not spamming or advertising "your products" or your business ... so you can ease off the disclaimers. I'm pretty sure the moderators are well aware of what your intentions are, so there's no longer a need for spending a lot of time typing in the "I'm not selling" & "I'm not advertising" remarks. Save that time & space & energy to show the process you go through to make these beautiful looking baits.

And if you want to be absolutely sure that you're not "spamming" or advertising without a Member Sponsor status ... show pictures of the baits where the "Jacks Jigs" markings are not visible (side view or before that's painted on). Or, consider becoming a Member Sponsor & advertise all you want (your signature & posts can then be your advertisements).

Much better pics on that last post Jackie! Now just need a step by step tutorial if possible. I understand there must be lots of steps and what equipment is used in each, especially taking a block of wood and Turing that into a bait.

by the way, the baits look a lot better with out that name showing.
