I can remember times that the water on my line would freeze and break off as it rounded the eyelet at the end of the pole. Not as brave as I use to be when it comes to being THAT cold. I'm praying for light to no winds.

Not only were the guides loading up with ice, but Tuesday morning it was so cold that my reels were affected. Line froze on the spools between casts and the bail and other moving parts outside the gearbox iced up.
